Issues and Fixes

Why am I running for Senate?

I’m running because I believe Texas needs leaders who serve the people, not themselves. I’m not a career politician I’ve served my community as a firefighter and worked in business, and I’ve seen firsthand the challenges families face. I refuse to sit back while Washington grows weaker, more divided, and out of touch. I want to give the people a voice again.

What makes me qualified for this role?

My qualifications don’t come from politics, they come from service. As a firefighter, I learned crisis management, teamwork, and sacrifice. In my professional career, I’ve managed budgets and operations. I know what it means to solve problems under pressure, make tough decisions, and be accountable. That’s the type of leadership the Senate needs.

What are my top priorities if elected?

My top priorities are strengthening our economy, lowering the cost of living, and expanding education and job opportunities across Texas. I believe a strong economy is built by hardworking Texans through grit, innovation, and opportunity not by big government. I’ll cut wasteful spending, reform the tax code, and ensure Texans keep more of what they earn. Rising prices and property taxes are pushing families out of their homes, and I’ll fight to make housing affordable so Texans can stay rooted in their communities. By strengthening trade programs, improving access to higher education, and creating good-paying jobs, we’ll secure a stronger future for every Texan.

How will I improve the economy?

A strong economy isn’t built by bloated government control it’s built on hard work, innovation, and opportunity. Right now, too many Texans are working long hours, paying taxes on every dollar they earn, and still struggling to make ends meet. That is unacceptable. We must cut wasteful spending, reform the tax system for the working and middle class, and free small businesses from crushing barriers. It’s time to straighten out this economy and put everyday Texans first. Here’s one bold, simple fix that can change lives: Let hardworking Texans keep every dollar they earn and make the biggest corporations pay their fair share. If you earn less than $120,000 a year, you should take home every cent. No loopholes. No fine print. Just fairness. If you make $60,000, you take home $60,000. Your taxes? Covered by corporations making record profits  companies like Walmart, pulling in $15 billion a year. They can afford to help everyday Texans thrive. And they should. This plan gives instant relief to working families. No more choosing between food and electricity, rent and gas. Texans can finally breathe, save, and enjoy a little extra every month. And when Texans have more money in their pockets, they spend it in their communities supporting local businesses, creating jobs, and growing our economy from the ground up. This isn’t just policy it’s fairness. Hardworking Texans deserve to keep the fruits of their labor. They built this economy. They built this state. They should not carry the burden alone while billion-dollar corporations skate by. When I’m in the Senate, I will fight to pass a bill that protects workers, supports small businesses, and ensures that every Texan has the right to live the Texas Dream not just the wealthy few at the top. It’s time for a government and an economy that prioritize Texans, their families, and their future. Let’s put more money in the hands of the people who built this state. Let’s grow our communities and make the Texas Dream a reality  for everyone.

How will I improve Cost of Living & Housing

Rising rent, soaring home prices, and high property taxes are making it increasingly difficult for Texans, especially young families and working households, to build a future here. Texas has a growing renter population, with approximately 37.5% of households over 4.16 million people statewide living in rental housing. In certain cities, the numbers are even higher: College Station has nearly 60% of its residents renting, and Killeen ranks third nationally at 56%. Suburban areas around Dallas have seen an 18% increase in renting households over the past five years, outpacing the 8% growth within the city itself. These trends show that renting is becoming the reality for more and more Texans, making affordable housing one of the most pressing issues in our state. The problem is compounded by property taxes. Even if we reduce property taxes, many landlords are unlikely to lower rents; instead, they often retain the savings, leaving renters with no relief. That is unacceptable. Texans who work hard to pay their rent should see the benefits of any tax relief, not have it absorbed by property owners. We need legislation that requires landlords to pass property tax savings directly on to renters. Affordable housing and fair economic opportunity are essential to keeping the next generation in Texas, allowing them to stay in the communities they grew up in, start families, and build their futures. By putting policies in place that protect renters and promote housing affordability, we can make sure every Texan has the chance to live, work, and thrive in the Lone Star State without being priced out of their own home.

What will I do about education?

Young Texans are facing serious challenges as they prepare for their future. The rising cost of college is placing enormous pressure on students, who are worried not only about tuition and fees but also about housing, textbooks, and living expenses. Many graduate with significant student debt that can take decades to repay, limiting their ability to buy a home, start a business, or invest in their future. At the same time, finding stable, well-paying jobs is increasingly difficult, particularly in rural areas where opportunities are limited, and in fast-growing fields like technology and healthcare where demand far exceeds supply. A growing concern is that many of the best entry-level and skilled jobs are being filled by non-U.S. citizens willing to work for lower wages. This practice is undermining our next generation by denying young Texans the experience and opportunities they need to succeed. When our college students graduate, they should be first in line for these jobs not pushed out by cheaper labor that comes from outside our communities. If we fail to prioritize Texans entering the workforce, we risk stifling innovation, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic growth in our state. We must strengthen trade, apprenticeship, and workforce programs to give students hands-on skills and a clear path into the workforce. Expanding access to higher education and vocational training will ensure every student has the opportunity to pursue a degree or certification that aligns with their career goals. We also need policies that encourage employers to hire qualified Texans first, particularly in in-demand industries like technology, healthcare, construction, and skilled trades. Expanding job opportunities across both urban and rural Texas is essential to give our youth a chance to thrive, contribute to their communities, and build the secure, prosperous future they deserve. By investing in education, workforce development, and policies that put Texans first, we can ensure the next generation is prepared to lead our state and economy, and that Texas remains a land of opportunity for its own young people.

Where do I stand on immigration and border security?

Border Integrity and Legal Immigration Reform

America faces two critical challenges: securing our borders and addressing the millions of undocumented immigrants living in the country. The Border Integrity and Legal Immigration Reform Plan is a practical, fair, and enforceable solution that strengthens national security, upholds the rule of law, and creates a pathway for eligible individuals to earn legal status.

Border Security A sovereign nation cannot function without secure borders. This plan ensures both northern and southern borders are protected. Only U.S. citizens, lawful residents, and valid visa holders may enter through official ports. Federal agencies will coordinate under a unified structure, using technology, infrastructure, and manpower to stop illegal crossings and restore order. Pathway to Legal Residency The plan offers a strict but fair path to legal status. Applicants must pass comprehensive background checks, pay a $20,000 civil penalty (with hardship extensions available), and remain free of criminal activity. Individuals with felony or violent criminal histories will be deported and barred from future applications. Citizenship and Integration Those who meet all requirements can progress to full U.S. citizenship by demonstrating English proficiency, passing a U.S. history and civics exam, and completing all financial obligations. Successful participants gain a lawful, permanent place in the American community. Economic Benefits With a national debt exceeding $38 trillion, this plan strengthens fiscal responsibility. Participation could generate up to $900 billion in revenue from penalties, while legal residents contribute to income taxes, Social Security, and Medicare, expanding the tax base and stabilizing entitlement programs. Public Safety and Efficiency Lawful pathways allow enforcement agencies to focus on real threats, including violent criminals, human trafficking, and drug smuggling, improving safety and reducing administrative waste. A Balanced, Bipartisan Solution This plan delivers what Americans want: secure borders, accountable immigration, and a realistic, enforceable path forward. It respects the law while providing opportunity to those who earn it, ensuring all participants contribute to the nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. Conclusion America’s strength comes from balancing compassion with accountability. By securing borders, enforcing laws, and integrating those who follow the rules, we protect national security, uphold our values, and strengthen the character of our nation.

What’s my stance on crime and public safety?

What’s my stance on crime and public safety? Simply put, we must stand firmly with law enforcement while addressing the root causes of crime in our communities. Our police officers, sheriffs, and first responders put their lives on the line every day to keep Texans safe, and they must have the resources, training, and support they need to protect our neighborhoods, schools, and families. This includes modern equipment, staffing, and access to programs that help officers engage with the communities they serve effectively.

At the same time, law enforcement alone cannot solve the problem of crime. We must also focus on prevention and opportunity. Young people are particularly vulnerable to being drawn into gangs, drug activity, or violent behavior when they lack strong family support, stable jobs, and educational opportunities. By investing in programs that strengthen families, expand workforce training, improve access to higher education, and create pathways to meaningful employment, we can help guide youth away from crime before it starts. Additionally, communities thrive when there are safe spaces for children to grow and families to live without fear. That means supporting local initiatives that provide after-school programs, mentorship, and community engagement, alongside strong policing. By combining tough, effective law enforcement with proactive prevention measures, we can reduce crime, protect our citizens, and create safer, stronger communities across Texas. Public safety is about more than responding to crime it’s about building communities where crime has no place to take root. That’s the vision I will fight for: safer streets, supported law enforcement, and opportunities that allow every Texan, especially our youth, to live, work, and thrive without fear.

How will I support veterans?

How will I support veterans? As someone who deeply respects and honors those who have served our nation, I believe it is our duty to ensure that every veteran receives the care, respect, and opportunities they deserve. Our veterans risked everything to protect our freedoms, and too often, they return home to face long waits for healthcare, bureaucracy, and unfulfilled promises. That is unacceptable, and I am committed to changing it.

I will fight to improve veteran healthcare by increasing funding for VA hospitals and clinics, expanding access to mental health services, and reducing wait times for medical appointments. Every veteran should be able to receive timely, high-quality care close to home without unnecessary delays or hurdles. Beyond healthcare, I will work to honor veterans through meaningful recognition and support programs. This includes initiatives to help veterans transition successfully into civilian life, including job training, educational opportunities, housing assistance, and small business support. Veterans should be empowered to thrive in their communities after serving our nation. Additionally, I will advocate for policies that hold the government accountable to its commitments, ensuring veterans are not forgotten or left behind. We must deliver on the promises made to those who served because their sacrifices demand nothing less. Supporting veterans is not just a responsibility; it is a moral imperative. They protected our country. Now, it is our duty to protect them, provide the care they need, and ensure they are respected, honored, and given every opportunity to succeed after their service.

How am I different from my opponent?

The difference between me and my opponent is clear, and it comes down to motivation, experience, and commitment to the people. I’m not in this for a political career or to chase power. I’m running to serve the people of Texas and make a real difference in our communities. My focus is on solutions, results, and accountability not on maintaining the status quo or playing political games. My opponent has spent years in office with opportunities to create meaningful change, yet too often we’ve seen promises left unfulfilled and critical issues ignored. While experience is valuable, experience alone is not enough if it does not translate into action and tangible results for everyday Texans. I bring a fresh perspective, grounded in real-world experience outside of politics, a deep understanding of the challenges people face, and a commitment to putting families, workers, and communities first. I also bring a practical, results-driven approach. I understand that government should empower people, not hinder them with bureaucracy. I know what it takes to create opportunity, grow jobs, strengthen our economy, and keep our communities safe. I will fight for policies that make life better for Texans—not policies designed to benefit politicians or special interests. At the end of the day, the difference is simple: my opponent represents more of the same politics-as-usual, while I represent honest leadership, fresh ideas, and a commitment to serving Texans with integrity, courage, and accountability. My campaign is about action, not ambition, and about putting the people of Texas first.

How will I represent people who don’t agree with me?

I believe every Texan deserves to be heard. Even if we don’t agree on every issue, I will listen, respect your perspective, and always put the good of our state and country first. My job is to serve everyone, not just those who voted for me.

What is my vision for Texans future?

I see an Texans where families can thrive, children have real opportunities, veterans are honored, and our freedoms are protected. I believe in a strong, Texas where the government serves the people not the other way around. That’s the future I’ll fight for every single day in the Senate.

What does “making Texas great again” mean to me?

It means restoring pride in our Great state, strengthening our economy, protecting our freedoms, and uniting as Texans. It means giving every person a fair shot at success and ensuring that our Great state remains the greatest in the world for generations to come.

What will I do about healthcare?

Healthcare should be affordable and accessible. I’ll work to lower prescription drug costs, increase transparency, and put doctors and patients not bureaucrats or insurance companies in charge of medical decisions.

How will I bring reformed ideology into reality?

Reforming government and policy is not about slogans or rhetoric it is about turning principles into actionable results that improve the lives of everyday Texans. My approach to bringing a reformed ideology into reality is grounded in three key pillars: accountability, efficiency, and opportunity.

1. Accountability in Government
A core tenet of reformed ideology is that government should serve the people, not the other way around. This means creating transparent processes, enforcing ethical standards, and ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used responsibly. I will push for strict oversight on government spending, demand measurable results for every program, and hold public officials accountable when they fail to deliver. By prioritizing integrity and transparency, we can rebuild trust in government and ensure that every decision reflects the best interests of Texans, not political agendas.

2. Efficiency and Practical Solutions
Reform is meaningless unless it produces tangible results. I will streamline government processes, reduce unnecessary bureaucracy, and implement policies that empower local communities rather than hinder them. Whether it is cutting red tape for small businesses, modernizing our state’s infrastructure, or improving public services like healthcare and education, my goal is to ensure that government works efficiently and effectively for the people it serves. Practical solutions, not politics, will guide every initiative.

3. Creating Opportunity for All Texans
A reformed ideology is not just about limiting government it’s about enabling Texans to thrive. This means policies that grow the economy, expand access to quality education, strengthen workforce development, and create pathways to homeownership and financial stability. By investing in opportunity, we empower individuals and families to take control of their futures, while simultaneously strengthening our communities and economy. Reform is only meaningful if it leaves real, lasting impact on people’s lives.

4. Bringing Reform From Ideas to Action
To make these reforms a reality, I will combine legislative action, community engagement, and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Ideas are only as powerful as their execution. I will work tirelessly to pass legislation that reflects reform principles, hold government accountable for implementation, and listen to the voices of Texans to ensure policies are practical and effective. Reform is not a one-time effort it is a continuous commitment to improving governance and outcomes for the people.

5. Leading by Example
Reformed ideology must also be reflected in leadership. I am committed to leading with integrity, transparency, and accountability in every decision I make. By modeling these principles, I aim to inspire public confidence and encourage other leaders to adopt a similar approach. Leadership rooted in principle ensures that reform is sustainable and meaningful over the long term.

Conclusion
Bringing reformed ideology into reality is about turning principles into action that improve lives, restore trust in government, and create opportunity for all Texans. By focusing on accountability, efficiency, and opportunity, and by leading with integrity, I will ensure that reform is not just a vision, but a tangible reality that strengthens our communities, economy, and state for generations to come.
