Andrew Trakas - Republican U.S. Senate Candidate - Texas
My name is Andrew Trakas, and I want to tell you a little bit about who I am, what I believe, and why I’m running for the United States Senate - Texas. I’m not a career politician. I’m a builder, a servant, and a fighter. I can’t just sit back and watch our Great state fall apart under weak leadership and self-serving politics. That’s why I’m stepping forward.
I’ve spent my life serving others. As a firefighter in Ponder, Texas, I learned what courage, teamwork, and sacrifice really mean. In the Texas state military and private security sector, I served as a squad leader, defense marksman, executive director of security, and chief training officer. Those roles taught me discipline, resilience, and how to lead under pressure.
In the private sector, I’ve worked in accounting, finance, and operations fields that taught me how to manage resources wisely and solve tough problems. As a Director of Sales Strategies, I led teams to record growth. And when I founded Freedom 75 in Denton Tx, it was about more than a mission but about honoring our fallen heroes, lifting up our veterans, and bringing Texans together around service, sacrifice, and freedom.
But above all, I’m a father. My kids are my world, and they’re one of the biggest reasons I’m running. I want them and every child in this country to grow up in an Texas that is safe, strong, and full of opportunity. I want them to inherit a greater Texas they can be proud of.
Here’s what I believe:
- Families should feel safe in their own neighborhoods.
- Hard work should be rewarded, not punished.
- Parents not bureaucrats should decide what’s best for their kids’ education.
- Veterans deserve to be honored and cared for.
- And faith, family, and freedom must always be preserved.
I’m a Conservative because I believe in the values that built this country which are faith, family, hard work, personal responsibility, and freedom. And I remain a Conservative because those values are under attack, and they need to be defended.
This campaign isn’t about me; it’s about us. It’s about restoring opportunity, unity, and pride in America. I love this country, and I believe we can protect our freedoms, rebuild trust, and secure a better future for our children.
I’m not just fighting for my kids; I’m fighting for yours. Together, we can build a stronger, freer, and prouder America.
